Victorian Indigenous fashion talents will have the chance to showcase their skills at this year’s Melbourne Fashion festival.
The Indigenous Runway Project launched four years ago by founder Tina Waru and aims to help First Nation’s fashion talent and designers emerge in the industry.
This year the Indigenous talent will be part of the fashion festival’s core program for the first time.
More than 700 people have taken part in the workshops, mentoring programs and runway events in Australia and overseas.
