About Locations

Indigenous broadcasting began around the same time when Aboriginal communities began setting up their own health and legal services in the 1970s. By 1980, 8KIN, the first Aboriginal owned and controlled radio station began broadcasting. Today there are over 120 Aboriginal community radio stations across the country. Use the map to locate your local Aboriginal radio station.
