The 2023 National NAIDOC Week poster competition is now open and for the first-time group entries will be eligible to enter in the prestigious competition.

The winning artist will receive a $10,000 cash price (tax free) and their artwork will be used as the official 2023 National NAIDOC Week Poster. Additionally, the winning artist or group of artists will receive a ticket for themselves and one guest to the National NAIDOC Awards ceremony to be held in Meanjin (Brisbane) on Saturday July 1, 2023.

The National NAIDOC Week Poster Competition represents a unique opportunity for talented Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists aged 16 years and over to have their work recognised both nationally and internationally.

All artwork submitted must reflect the 2023 National NAIDOC Week Theme – For Our Elders – which was announced in a video on Friday.

National NAIDOC Week will be celebrated from Sunday 2 July – Sunday 9 July 2023.
