Port Adelaide will manage the workload of returning First Nations star Paddy Ryder through the pre season competition.
Ryder was one of a number of players banned for 12 moths following the supplements scandal while he was at Essendon.
Port assistant coach Michael Voss (pictured) says while the club will be monitoring the minutes played by its key position players, its also mindful of the need to get as much playing time as possible into its stars before the season proper begins.
