The Newcastle Knights say they won’t throw half Jarrod Mullen under the bus following the news of his positive drug test.
29 year old Mullen, currently on a 2 year contract worth $1.5 million dollars with the Knights, recorded a positive test to an anabolic steroid on November 29 last year and faces a four ban from the game.
Knights CEO Kurt Gidley (pictured), a former teammate of Mullen says while the player has been provisionally suspended pending the outcome of a B sample.
