The continuing improvement of the Port Adelaide midfield will have coaches burning the midnight oil looking for methods to limit the clubs control of possession.

Midfield gun Brad Ebert, playing in his 200th game in the defeat of Hawthorn on Thursday night had a game high 34 possession and with Ollie Wines, rookie First Nations sensation Sam Powell Pepper and Paddy Ryder alongside him, the club has moved to fifth on the AFL ladder.

After 12 months out of the game, ruckman Ryder says he’s in the best form of his career and having the talented trio of midfielders alongside him has been key in him finding his best form.
