Gold Coast Suns skipper Stephen May says the way his teammates are leading the way is a sign of just how far the club has come.

The Suns have been seen as unachievers that rarely fail to live up to their reputations  but the thrilling three point defeat of West Coast on Saturday is a good sign for the club going into the second half of the season.

Superstar Gary Ablett lead the way with 36 touches but May (pictured) says the way some of the clubs less heralded players are stepping up and leading the way says a lot about the progress the club is making.
