Former Queensland captain Gordon Tallis says he doubts Roosters half Luke Leary has the passion required to be a success playing for New South Wales.
Born in Queensland, Keary has been a member of the a junior Maroons squad and in 2014 signalled his desire to represent the Maroons only for that plan to be scuttled by a change in eligibility rules.
Keary has recently declared his willingness to be selected in the Blues team but Tallis (pictured) says he doubts whether the in form Roosters half will have the passion for the Blues jersey needed to succeed in rugby leagues toughest competition.
