South Sydney coach Michael Maguire says its an honour for he and his team to be able to honour Australian servicemen and women when the Rabbitohs take on Brisbane on Friday night.

Maguire (pictured) says his experience of walking the Kokoda Trail in 2014 has assisted him in gaining a greater understanding of the war in Papua New Guinea.

Maguire and Souths club have formed a significant bond with the ADF since then and the coach says he’s pleased that the club are able to do their part in honouring the ANZAC legacy.
