The news is not all bad for Cronulla and New South Wales skipper Paul Gallen.
The Sharks have confirmed that Gallen suffered posterior and meniscus damage in the thrilling 20 – 14 loss to the Cowboys on Saturday.
Initially, it was feared the injury might signal the end of Gallens career but after scans on Monday morning, a relieved Gallen was all smiles.
