Javid Bowen has been included in the North Queensland side that takes on Brisbane at Lang Park on Friday night.
Bowens spot in the side though is under threat from Antonio Winterstein who is expected to be fit for the Broncos clash.
Cowboys coach Paul Green (pictured) says while it would be nice to welcome back a player of Wintersteins experience, Hopevale born Bowen did enough last week against Canberra to maintain his place in the side.
