The CEO of the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement has condemned the Campbelltown Council’s decision to not fly the Indigenous flag all year round.

Cheryl Axleby said in a statement that the decision does little to enhance the Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan and ignores the Aboriginal voice of the Advisory Committee.

Ms Axleby disagreed with the argument put forward by Councillors that putting up another flag would be “divisive”.
