Jarryd Hayne (pictured) has reportedly been cleared to take part in the Rio Olympics as part of the Fijian Sevens team.
Hayne, whose father is Fijian born, announced that he would be taking up the opportunity on the weekend and joined the Fijian squad in London on Monday.
Hayne though is not guaranteed a spot in the star studded Fijian team and says he’s confident the coach will select the best team possible as Fiji seek to win their first ever Olympic gold medal.
