The head of the Dumbartung Aboriginal Corporation in West Australia says he is yet to come across a political party that have really addressed the human rights issues of First Nations people.

Bibbulmun man Robert Eggington says neither Liberal nor Labor have adequately provided services required for the advancement of First Nations people.

He says as is stands, he won’t be casting a vote for any party.

A First Nations lawyer says both major parties appear to be afraid of putting a foot forward on Indigenous affairs.

Palawa man Michael Mansell says Indigenous affairs in this country are as shocking as it has been in the last 40 years.

He says neither major party has committed to measures that would provide a road to self-determination or a percentage of gross domestic product for First Nations people under fear of scrutiny by the other.
