Indigenous entrepreneur and Brisbane Broncos player Ryan James has launched his own new health food range using native food ingredients.
BSKT Native, which is co-owned by former team mates Greg Bird and Selasi Berdie, will bring a range of super food bars, chocolate and granola using ingredients such as the Davidson’s plum, finger limes and saltbush.
Most ingredients are sourced from around northern New South Wales and the business aims to promote healthy eating among First Nations people as well as the wider population.
Bundjalung man Ryan James says profits will go towards helping Aboriginal communities through his new foundation, the Ryan James Foundation.
