An inquiry into the how corporations engage with First Nations consumers will be looking to see if businesses are living up to their Reconciliation Action Plans.
House Indigenous Affairs Committee will be reviewing the role of Reconciliation Action Plans and look at ways to strengthen better engagement with First Nations people.
The inquiry comes following recent examples of poor engagement with First Nations people including predatory sales practices and the destruction of sacred sites.
Committee Chair, Julian Leeser MP says they want to hear from businesses as well as the general public.
Submissions close November 25 and a report is due by the 31st of March 2022.
