After moving online in response to COVID-19 in 2020 – Brisbane’s largest Indigenous markets are heading back to the heart of Meeanjin.

Kicking off this Friday (November 19), the Meeanjin Markets will run from 9am – 9pm at Reddacliff Place, in Brisbane City.

Since its launch in 2018, the unique markets have provided an important platform for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artisans, musicians, and performers to showcase their talents, and learn from the experience to shape their business.

Head of communications and media for the Meeanjin Markets, Kerry Klimm recently sat down with NIRS to yarn about the importance of showcasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creators, buying Blak, and what’s on offer.
