24 year old Tiwi islander Anthony McDonald – Tipungwutti has covered himself in glory by leading the Bombers home against the Blues on Saturday.
McDonald – Tipungwutti (pictured) exploded in the final quarter with two crucial goals, finishing the day with three goals, 16 disposals and five crucial tackles as the Bombers got home by eight points.
He says with the game on the line going into the final quarter, the way his team applied defensive pressure to the charging Blues was crucial to getting a much needed win for the eight placed Essendon.
