Manly Warringah’s 36 – 16 win over Newcastle on Sunday afternoon sees the Sea Eagles just a win away from a spot in the top eight.
The match marked another significant moment in utility Dylan Walkers (pictured) resurrection in a season that saw him out of the game with a self inflicted broken hand that came just days after his dropping from the New South Wales team that grabbed a much needed Game three win over the Maroons.
Its been a difficult season for Walker after being released by Souths last year and Manly coach Trent Barrett says he’s confident that the 21 year old is well on the way to getting his career back on an even keel.
