Gary Ablett has undergone successful surgery on his injured shoulder on Wednesday.
The Suns skipper (pictured) has been plagued by shoulder problems in recent seasons with the latest bout of surgery the third time Ablett has gone under the knife.
Suns coach Rodney Eade says Ablett is expected to make a complete recovery and be back in full training by the time the 2017 season begins.
