New South Wales coach Laurie Daley (pictured) has recommended the Gold Coast tread warily before signing a replacement for the injured Jarryd Hayne.
The news that Hayne will miss up to six weeks with an ankle problem has hit the Titans hard with up to ten players currently sidelines by injury.
Roosters centre Daley Copley has been mentioned as a possible solution but Daley has warned the club against a knee jerk reaction that could hurt the club long term.
