Brownlow medallist Paddy Dangerfield has accused the AFL of a lack of respect for the AFL Players Association.
With tensions rising between the parties over pay negotiations and the possibliity of a pre – season players strike being raised last week, the AFLPA were dismayed when AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan failed to attend the AFLPA’s two day conference.
The conference was attended by two AFL representatives but Dangerfield (pictured) says McLachlans no show left a bitter taste in the mouths of many delegates at the conference.
