The North Qld Cowboys have weathered a determined Manly side to keep their undefeated home ground record intact.
The Cowboys got off to a wonderful start to the match, leading 18 – 4 at halftime with all their Origin stars backing up except Michael Morgan who’ll be missing for the next three weeks after injuring his knee in Qlds Game Two win.
The Sea Eagle fought back admirably in the second half to trail by just 4 points but giant forward Jason Taumalolo (pictured) stepped up when he was needed the most with two tries, drawing praise from skipper Johnathon Thurston for the way he’s responded during the Origin period.
