After being accused of lacking aggression, the Sydney Swans have responded with a devastating opening quarter to defeat the Brisbane Lions by 54 points on Sunday.
The Swans season has been in crisis after six straight losses to open the season and meeting the torrid challenge offered up by the Lions is a good sign that things are on the improve for last years beaten Grand Finalists.
Superstar forward Buddy Franklin (pictured) lead from the front for the Swans with 8 goals and he said matching the oppositions hard nosed approach from the opening bounce was always going to be key to getting a much needed win.
