Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley says the club will proceed cautiously with ruckman Paddy Ryders return to the game.
The Noongar/Yamantji 28 year old played half a game in the Powers one point defeat at the hands of St Kilda last night, booting a goal before being rested.
Hinkley (pictured) says while he was happy with Ryders display, the club will continue to monitor his progress as the team builds towards round one.
