AFL CEO Gilon McLachlan has delivered a clear message to racists in the crowd at AFL games.

Speaking after the weekend Showdown between Adelaide and Port Adelaide that saw brawls in the stands and  a Port fan banned after  posting racist comments on Facebook, McLachlan left nobody in any doubt  about the Leagues attitude towards racism in the game.

The incident came after a similar example of racist crowd behaviour in the corresponding match last year and McLachlan (pictured) say it’s time for all AFL fans to stand up and stamp out racist behaviour at AFL games.
