Wallaby coach Michael Cheika (pictured) has singled out backrower David Pocock for special praise following the Wallabies win over France on Sunday morning.
With a number of first choice players left out of the starting side, including skipper Stephen Moore, Pocock was elevated to the captaincy and lead the team to hard fought 25 – 23 victory over a French side that was in the match until the very last seconds.
At his best and injury free, Pocock is regarded as the worlds best in his position and according to the coach, he certainly lived up to that reputation in Paris.
