19 year old Sam Petrevski – Seton’s outstanding first year in the AFL has taken another step after the First Nations midfielder was named the AFL’s Rising Star for Round 7.
Petrevski – Seton, already something of a cult figure at the Blues had 22 possessions in the 23 point defeat of Collingwood on Saturday, 10 of them contested to add to the two goals he kicked in a performance that saw him receive the Round 7 nomination.
Taken with pick No 6 in the 2016 draft, the Halls Creek raised Petrevski Seton (pictured) received a rousing cheer from his Carlton teammates when news of his nomination was released.
