Fremantle Dockers coach Ross Lyon (pictured) says he believes retiring skipper Matthew Pavlich still has an onfield role to play for the Dockers in 2016.
The Dockers veteran is set to play his 350th match for the Dockers next weekend, a remarkable milestone for the one club man who is the first and only player from a WA club to play 300 games at the highest level.
Pavlich had offered to retire earlier in the season with Freo having a horror start to the year but Lyon says while he considered the offer, the club still believes Pav still has plenty to offer.
