North Melbourne champion Brent Harvey (pictured) has decided against continuing his AFL career with another club.
Harvey was one of four players informed by coach Brad Scott going into the finals that he would not be required by the club in 2017 and was believed to be giving serious consideration to signing with another club.
In calling an end to his celebrated career, in which he played a record 431 games for the Kangaroos, put the length of his career into perspective as he officially brought an end to his time as a player at the clubs Best & Fairest presentation on Friday night .
