Cronulla veteran Luke Lewis says there is no truth to reports of a blowup between Andrew Fifita and New South Wales coach Laurie Daley in the days leading up to Origin Game Three.
The Blues camp threatened to blow up this week with the news that Fifita had objected to Daley’s plans to start him off the bench, prompting the coach to backtrack on his plans to start the match with David Klemmer.
Lewis (pictured) told Fox Sports that he and Sharks skipper Paul Gallen have spoken to Fifita who absolutely denies any of the stories of a blowup in the Blues camp.
