The AFL Grand Final will no longer be replayed in the case of a draw.
AFL Commission Chairman Mike Fitzpatrick announced the historic change on Tuesday saying the decision will provide a fairer outcome for travelling teams.
While draws will still exist in the regular season, the new ruling will also apply to all AFL finals games.
