One of the untold stories about the Adelaide Crows win over St Kilda was the AFL debut of 26 year old Jono Beech.
Beech has been on the verge of an AFL appearance since last season but injuries and a family tragedy in which he lost his mum to cancer last year have conspired against him until the weekend clash with St Kilda.
Crows superstar Eddie Betts (pictured) told 5aa seeing Beech kick his first AFL goal was a wonderful moment not just for the player but for his immediate family and the entire Adelaide club.
