Gold Coast Suns coach Rodney Eade has praised Stephen May for his increasing maturity on the verge of milestone games for two of the clubs most high profile players.
Plenty has been written about Gary Ablett, who will play his 300th match at the highest level if as expected, he takes his place in the team that will take on North on Saturday afternoon, but Eade hopes that the milestone won’t detract too much from skipper Stephen May’s 100th AFL match.
Eade (pictured) says the way May has ascended to the clubs leadership in the past three seasons is a sign of just how far the Gunbalanya Larrakia backman has come in his time at the club.
