The Sydney Swans open their AFL season against Collingwood on Saturday night at the SCG.
The Swans will welcome the return of key forward Buddy Franklin (pictured) who has trained the house down since his return from medical leave in December.
Coach John Longmire has used Franklin in the midfield during the NAB Challenge and will on occasions continue to do so but says the big forwards primary role in the Swans lineup will continue to be in the forward line.
