When Ryan James heard that the Gold Coast Titans had signed New Zealand star Kevin Proctor from Melbourne, he was excited by the opportunity to play alongside someone he’d looked up to as a teenager.
Indigenous All Star James (pictured) and Proctor were named as co captains of the Titans yesterday.
James says after the pair ended up at different clubs after leaving school, he’d never imagined he’d get the opportunity to play alongside Proctor, let alone share the captaincy of an NRL club.
