The NRL have announced that the Annual Indigenous All Stars rugby league week will be held in Newcastle in 2017.
The week long celebration of Indigenous culture and rugby league has previously been held in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.
Newcastle product and member of the NSW Indigenous Womens team Rebecca Young (pictured) says shes thrilled that the annual fixture has been moved to the Hunter region and she’ll be doing everything she can to secure a spot in the womens team for the All Star Match.
