Valentine Holmes is set for a long international career after his eye opening debut for the Kangaroos on saturday night.
Holmes was added to the Kangaroos side after his outstanding form in Cronullas inaugural NRL premiership and didn’t put a foot wrong in the 26 – 6 defeat of the Kiwis, scoring a try and handling every challenge thrown at him by the New Zealanders.
Former Kangaroo Jharal Yow Yeh says while Holmes (pictured at right) had the benefit of Johnathon Thurston steering the side around the paddock, he still took every opportunity when presented and will no doubt have plenty more chances in the representative arena.
