Hawthorn coach Alistair Clarkson has praised his side for the way they bounced back after four consecutive defeats to open the 2017 AFL season.
The Hawks were anchored firmly to the bottom of the ladder going into Sundays clash with West Coast but responded to the challenge ry running away from the Eagles in the second half to run out 50 point winners.
Clarkson (pictured) says with everything seemingly going against the club, the way his side stood up for themselves will give the side renewed confidence heading into the round six clash with St Kilda on Saturday afternoon.
