AFL legend Gavin Wanganeen has called on Hawthorn to re- sign Premiership star Shaun Burgoyne (pictured).
Burgoyne plays his 300th AFL game against Adelaide at the MCG on Friday night and joins Wanganeen, Adam Goodes, Michael O’Loughlin and Andrew McLeod as the only First Nations players to crack the 300 game mark.
Wanganeen says with Burgoyne still in excellent form, the Hawks must offer the backline lynchpin another contract.
