West Coast Eagles half forward Malcolm Karpany (pictured) says greater attention to training away from the club has been a major contributor to his elevation to the ranks of AFL footballers.
Karpany played his first AFL match for the Eagles in 2016 in round 19 against Collingwood at the MCG but only months before, he was languishing in the East Perth reserves.
After sitting down with Eagles staff to work out a plan to improve his fitness and doing the extra work required, its been full steam ahead for the First Nations man who won’t be making the mistake of letting his fitness lapse going into the 2017 season.
