Cronulla Sharks coach Shane Flanagan (pictured) has accused NRL ladders of failing to enforce the rules during Monday nights golden point extra time shootout between the Sharks and Gold Coast Titans.
The premiership favourites undefeated run of 15 straight matches came to an end with the draw leaving both coaches and captains fuming after the match about the final few minutes.
Both sides missed numerous field goal attempts in the extra time period but Flanagan says he was mistified at the way the referees put the whistle in the pocket as the game ended in a frustrating draw.
