Geelong will give skipper Joel Selwood every chance to play on Saturday evening against the ladder leading Giants in Sydney.
Selwood has trained strongly this week but will face further concussion tests before being declared fit to play.
Cats coach Chris Scott (pictured) says with Selwood so crucial to the teams chances against the Giants, he’ll be given as long as is possible to prove his fitness.
