Hawthorn vice captain Isaac Smith says he fully expects Shaun Burgoyne to play on in 2018.
Burgoyne passed Andrew McLeod on the weekend to trail only Adam Goodes for the most games played at the highest level by a First Nations player.
Burgoyne has indicated he’d like to go around again and Smith (pictured) says he’d be shocked if the 34 year old Kokatha man wasn’t lining up alongside him next season.
