Hawthorn champion Shaun Burgoyne (pictured) has added another accolade to his already impressive trophy cabinet.

33 year old Burgoyne, a four time premiership player with the Hawks and his previous club Port Adelaide, finished third in the clubs Best and Fairest award behind perennial winner Sam Mitchell and was named the clubs best finals player.

The Hawks will feel the disappointment of the 2016 finals loss badly throughout the summer and Burgoyne says there will be plenty of intent when the team resumes for the 2017 season.
