An emotional Darius Boyd (pictured) has been named Brisbane Broncos captain for the 2017 NRL season.
Boyd, considered a crucial part the leadership group of both Queensland and Australian teams.
The 29 year old says after growing up a fan of the Brisbane club, being named as the skipper is the greatest moment he’s enjoyed in the game.
