Highly rated Carlton youngster Jacob Weitering has already marked himself as a future star after his impressive first game for the Blues a fortnight ago.
Weitering, the first pick at last years AFL draft, looked more than ready for AFL footy against the Bombers, picking up 17 possessions and grabbing a handy nine marks.
The Blues take on Sydney on friday night and coach Brendan Bolton says he’s giving serious consideration to giving Weitering the job on superstar Swan Buddy Franklin(pictured), a massive challenge for a player so young and experienced.
