Cronulla Sharks star Jack Bird (pictured) will make his debut for the Indigenous All Stars on Friday night in Newcastle.
Bird, who make his New South Wales Origin debut in 2016 comes into the side for Wil Chambers who will miss the match as the birth of his first child draws near.
After ascending to the heights of State of Origin last year, Bird says to be playing alongside the likes of superstars Johnathon Thurston and Greg Inglis is a special feeling that he’ll long remember.
