Broncos coach Wayne Bennett has shot down rumours that First Nations flyer Jack Bird is set to renege on his move to Brisbane in 2018.
The Broncos take on the Sharks on Friday night but the premiers will be without Bird, who’s been sidelined by a shoulder injury.
Bennett (pictured) says the rumours are nothing more than the run of the mill media beat up that often seems to arise around the powerhouse Brisbane club.
