Harley Bennells Fremantle debut went off without a hitch on Saturday with the Dockers knocking off the Cats by 12 points.
Bennell was a more than handy contributor for the Freo side, kicking a goal, grabbing 17 possessions and combining well the Dockers forwards in a three quarter hitout that has Freo fans excited about the season ahead.
The match was played in difficult conditions with temperatures over 30 degrees in the first half and the former Sun was happy with his first hit out despite the intensity of the clash.
